| Glenwood Picnic Park (freshwater) A provincial picnic park, with well maintained grounds, eating areas, etc. Located just off Hwy 103 by the Tusket River. |
| John's Cove Located at John's Cove near Yarmouth, just a short distance before the Lighthouse at Cape Forchu. Offers a sheltered area of sand and swimming. |

| Port Maitland Beach Provincial Park Located on Route 1 about 15 minutes from Yarmouth in the village of Port Maitland. Provincial picnic park with picnic tables and change houses, and a large (approx. 1 mile) sandy open beach. |
